Douglas J. Cohen's "No Way To Treat A Lady," based on William Goldman's novel, devilishly blends humor, romance, and murder. A Richard Rodgers Award winner, it received its world premiere in 1987 off-Broadway at the Hudson Huild Theater. After productions and workshops at several prestigious regional theaters, Lady returned to off-Broadway's York Theatre Company in December 1996 with significant revisions and new songs. Starring Adam Grupper, Alix Korey, Marguerite MacIntyre and Paul Schoeffler, and directed by Scott Schwartz, the limited run was extended due to popular and critical acclaim.
This is a re-release of the 1996 York Theatre Company Original Cast Recording.
